Since building the 2nd onshore wind farm in the UK in 1992, Wind Prospect been involved in over 2GW of approved wind projects worldwide. The company now employs over 200 staff across offices in Australia, Canada, China, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Poland, Turkey, UK and USA.


With such a pedigree in wind energy, Wind Prospect has also developed a world class team of advisors, providing advice and support to financiers, banks and other developers - priding itself on being the service provider “…that builds its own wind farms”.


The company is the most successful independent developer In the UK and advised on 50% of all wind related due diligence acquisition in France in 2008. It is also the most successful green field developer in the Southern Hemisphere.
Examples of Wind Prospect projects to date include 38MW Longpark Wind Farm (UK); 132MW Hallett Wind Farm (Aus); Hong Kong Offshore Wind Farm (China) and 21MW Ballycadden. In 2009 meanwhile, the advisory team secured a major contract with GE Energy to provide advisory services across 6 European countries.
