Coriantumr and his army pursued the brother of Shared to the wilderness of Akish where a great battle ensued and many thousands died by the sword . Coriantumr laid siege to the wilderness, a tactic which ultimately failed when his enemies escaped and took the throne of Coriantumr . Coriantumr then lived for two years in this wilderness while he strengthened his army .

Later, during the war with Lib, Coriantumr's army again retreated to this wilderness .
