In this town, a new development is underway for a 1700 acres (6.9 km²) mixed use community called Anson. Anson http://www.ansonindiana.com is not a stand alone city and is a part of Whitestown, being a planned neighborhood. It is a home to many new businesses, including Medco Health Solutions and ASILimited.

In addition, Anson includes residential, office, healthcare and retail developments, including a Lowe's
