Reception

John Bush of Allmusic praised the album as being a fusion of house music and salsa and called the single "Ride on the Rhythm" as worth the cost of the CD alone. Wilson, of Wilson & Alroy's Record reviews, gave the album a mixed review criticizing the ballads as being "dreadful". Wilson praised the title track of the album as being a memorable song.
