The music video includes Brian singing and playing his guitar, and showing glimpses of a family, from a child going to school, to a the child going to the military. In the middle of the song, the father sees on television that his son is MIA (Missing in Action). He drops the note that his son gives him before his disappearance. At the end, the child comes back to the father, with the other soldiers. The ghost soldiers come back too, and people who lost their daughters/sons can see them before they go into Heaven.
