Warren Mott High School is located on 12 Mile Road in between Ryan Road and Dequindre Road, and is one of three high schools in the Warren Consolidated School System. WMHS serves over 1900 students.

In late 2003 the building underwent renovations, the school board bought St Paul Albanian Catholic Church turning it to a new performing arts center, a new cafeteria, including as well as many important security measures to assure the safety of staff and students alike. Also in the renovations was a newly designed front entrance, climate control systems in the rooms, and new windows in every room that may serve as a fire escape in the event of an emergency.

Warren Mott is also widely known for their prestigious band program. The "Marauder Music Machine", is put together of four smaller bands of different musical levels; Cadet, Concert, Symphonic, and Wind Ensemble. The marching band has received division one ratings for the past five years at the MSBOA Marching Band Festival for their half time show performances. They have been featured numerous times on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Jazz band has also played at the 2008 Detroit Jazz Festival.

Distinguished faculty include: Bud Doba (retired from WMHS) created the physical training programs and coached basketball, football, track & weightlifting at WMHS. Coach Doba previously coached at Warren High School and Fuhrmann Junior High School. Bud is well known and respected in the community and many alumni find him to be a memorable character their high school education, not only as a coach, but as a mentor. He was also a college athlete who ran track for Notre Dame. Coach Doba currently coaches at Cousino High School.

Regarding the 2011 Michigan Education Budget Cuts, according to Michigan Legislature, Warren Mott High School is the most concerned school, attracting the attention of bypassers with the Go Red for Public Ed protests.

Warren Mott is going through various renovations during Summer 2011, including complete parking lot changes as well as fixing the roof. This was only made possible by WCS's public voting for renovations which took place in November of 2009.
