Warner Christian Academy first opened its doors in 1971 with a first-grade class and later a day care

. In September 1972, WCA started the school year with 228 students in grades K5 through 9. By the fall of 1973, the school population grew to 440 and the athletic department was started.

As of January 2011, Warner Christian Academy has over 600 students enrolled.
