Wang Tong was a general of the Ming Dynasty

, his force was surprisingly crushed by the rebels under Le Loi. Wang was captured by the Annamese, but was offered help by Le Loi if he would negotiate an independence right for Vietnam. Both Wang Tong and the Chinese Army was able to return home without being attacked.
