Riad, who has the nickname 'Cheetos', is one of the most talented players of this Egyptian generation. He is a very fast player, with accurate shots, and outstanding skills. He is famous for breaking the offside traps, and scoring with his rapid movement.

, scoring a double-kick goal against Tusker FC of Kenya, in the 'Last 32'-round, in a game ended 3-0 in Cairo.
