History

The station was assigned the call letters WOHO on March 8, 1991. On October 22, 1993, the station changed its call sign to the current WVXG.

The station broadcast a Contemporary Christian music format from 2004 through March 2008 under a leasing agreement with Christian Voice of Central Ohio. Christian Voice of Central Ohio continues the format online and on WZCP
