History

WUJM was WLRK "Lite Rock 96.7", an adult contemporary outlet based in Gulfport-Biloxi in the late 1990s, and went to WUJM as "Jammin Oldies 96.7" with an urban oldies format. In 2003, a New Orleans station started playing a modern AC format on 105.3 FM as "105.3 The Zone" which could be heard on the Mississippi Gulf Coast so then 96.7 switched formats again to modern AC and named it "Molly @ 96.7". WUJM switched formats again, and became 96.7 Hank FM, a classic country format, until August 2011.

On August 27th, 2011, WUJM dumped its normal classic country programing and began playing Gary Glitter's Rock and Roll, Part 2, also known as the "Hey!" Song, non-stop.

On August 29th, 2011, WUJM was unveiled as The Champ 96.7 FM, a sports talk radio station.
