History

The station went on the air as WWOU on 1987-04-21. on 1988-12-15, the station changed its call sign to WBZR, on 2003-11-01 to the current WNWF.
WNWF is now known as "BEACH RADIO 1120", which is a progressive news/talk station. BEACH RADIO covers both national and local news, and also directs visitors to areas of local interest along the Emerald Coast.
