Programming

WJEJ features mostly local programming with local personalities. At the top of most hours news from CBS radio is broadcast live. Local news and weather is also broadcast live by an on-air personality. A local call-in show called The Phone Party is broadcast live every weekday from 11:06 AM until 11:36 AM, usually by Lou Scally. Penn-State college football and local High-School football are also broadcast usually live. The Little League World Series in 2008 was also broadcast as the Hagerstown Federal Little League team played. On Sunday evenings at 9:06 PM and 10:06 PM the program When Radio Was is also broadcast. Also at 11:06 PM on Sundays Imagination Theater is broadcast. Most programs start at 6 minutes after the hour to allow for CBS news.
