History

The station was assigned the call letters WRFN on 1997-04-08. On 2003-10-03, the station changed its call sign to WGAC-FM and, on 2011-08-15, to the current WCHZ.

On August 10, 2011, WGAC-FM's news/talk format moved to 95.1 FM Harlem, GA, swapping frequencies with rock-formatted WCHZ
