WCHE
Encyclopedia
WCHE is a commercial radio station located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, broadcasting to the western suburbs of the Philadelphia, PA area on 1520 AM. WCHE airs talk, and a mix of hits from the rock n' roll era of the 50's and 60's

WCHE is licensed as a daytimer AM, permitted to transmit from sunrise to sunset, thus requiring the station to be off the air during the nighttime hours because it interferes with the same frequency as "clear channel" stations WWKB in Buffalo, New York and KOKC in Oklahoma City.

The station was most recently acquired by brothers David and Jay Shur in 1997.

The station launched a new programming schedule in early 2009, including JT Morgan as the morning show host (airing from 7AM-10AM), and Ron's Swap Shop (airing from 10AM-12PM). In January 2010, WCHE entered the foray of afternoon drive time sports talk by launching The Matt Lombardo Show.
