History

The station went on the air as WXEJ on 1992-07-02. on 1995-04-14, the station changed its call sign to WMTT, on 1996-04-08 to the current WCDW, Cool 100 was formerly known as CD 100, which played modern rock, until a vote was taken and the format was flipped to oldies.

In addition to the main station, WCDW is relayed by an additional three translators to widen its broadcast area.
