The film is about two aliens (Giljotin and Orvaskesi) who land on earth to learn of human custom and manners. They encounter a motley crew of characters such as a Forgetful Professor (Pentti Siimes), a man suffering from bad grammar which is makes him sound Swedish (stress related) and a psychiatrist with a way with the ladies. The latter two characters look exactly like Orvaskesi's and Giljotin's human-forms and cause problems for both characters.
The film is notable as it does not star or feature Vesa-Matti Loiri
, but does feature two appearances by Spede's regular Simo Salminen
. Though Pasanen wrote the film he went uncredited for reasons unspecified. Spede himself only appears in a brief cameo in the film.
