Visionfest '07 repeats a programming formula that for the past six years has been very successful.
  • FiveXFive New York State of Mind DV Project 2007
The FiveXFive New York State of Mind DV Project, which was created and launched by Visionfest in 2003, provides five New York-based filmmakers with the opportunity to make a five minute short and be given a “world premiere” screening at the festival. The FiveXFive series has demonstrated a powerful filmmakers’ collaborative initiative that has garnered media attention and increased consumer interest.

  • FKBK – For Kids By Kids
FKBK – For Kids By Kids is a brand new initiative offering a unique opportunity to filmmakers under 18 years of age to participate in a special showcase featuring their works. Collected from a national call for entries, selected entries will compete for a “Best of Fest” award, which will be a cash prize that the recipients may use for their next project.
