's past with Sydney, and set about trying to get revenge. She slept with Michael, then applied to be Noah Mancini's nanny before revealing to Michael that she recorded their one night stand (also that she's Sydney's daughter) as she wants revenge for how he treated Sydney.
In episode 8, she slept with Auggie Kirkpatrick. In episode 11, Violet's adoptive brother, Levi Foster turned up and it was revealed that he is a meth addict, and that him and Violet had a sexual relationship which they kept hidden from their parents. In episode 12 it was revealed that Michael's wife Vanessa killed Sydney. Sydney's taunts about Vanessa and Michael's son Noah actually being fathered by David had driven Vanessa to attack and ultimately kill Sydney. Suspecting Vanessa, David left Noah with Violet to keep Vanessa from leaving town with her son; confronting her mother's killer, Violet wrestled a gun-toting Vanessa into the pool and drowned her, this was witnessed by Amanda Woodward

The next day she left town with Auggie to develop their relationship. A picture of her mom, Sydney was her last item to pack away.

Reception

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz portrayal of Violet Foster has been heavily criticized by critics and fans, and was reportedly disliked by cast members. It was announced in October 2009 that Simpson-Wentz and Colin Egglesfield
