, and has been a member of that band ever since. In 2001 Ditrich became the bands manager as well. He has also continued to record with other musicians as a session drummer, and released a solo album in 2002.

Spirit of the West frequently perform a rendition of That's Amore

, however, Ditrich does not normally perform lead vocals on the band's albums.
Till 1993 Ditrich lived in Vancouver, but after the birth of his first son he moved to Vancouver Island with his future wife.

Ditrich lives on Vancouver Island still with his wife Marion and his two sons Perry and Sam.
