. Pfeifer represented Austria at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, where he placed 22nd and 21st accordingly.

Pfeifer began playing the cello as a child and attended a music conservatory in Austria before deciding to focus on skating. He currently resides in Newark, Delaware. He studies economics at the University of Delaware.
