Vidhubala is a former Malayalam film actress who started her career in the mid-1970s and retired when she was at the peak of her career. She is the daughter of Indian magician K. Bhagyanath.

Acting career

Vidhubala acted in over 100 Malayalam films. Her first movie was School Master, in which she acted as an eight-year-old girl. She made her debut as a lead actor in Ponnkku Thanga Manasu (1973), a Tamil film and received an award in the "Best Actress" category. In 1974, ten years after her first movie, she made her debut as the heroine opposite Prem Nazir
