Videoton is a regional, integrated Contract Manufacturing company being the 4th most significant European EMS provider and 26th largest globally.
It is a multi-commodity supplier of parts, sub-assemblies and modules in electronics, plastic injection moulding, stamping, machining, tooling, surface treatment and assembly. The group contains 27 specialized medium sized subsidiaries which mainly supply the Automotive Industry

In June 29, 2010 Videoton acquired a majority stake (51%) in the Győr
-based STS Group Zrt., an active player in the renewable energy sector in Hungary.
In May 3, 2011 the company officially announced the acquisition of the direct majority ownership of STS Technology Kft., a former STS Group ZRt. subsidiary, which is specialized in the contract manufacturing of high complexity machines.
In July 22, 2011 Videoton announced that it acquired the 94% of Ventifilt Zrt., a company which is specialized in industrial air technics and the design, manufacturing and on-site installation of equipment reducing environment contamination.
