. Valley View High (VVHS) is the biggest 4A school in the state of Arkansas, with plans to jump to the 5A classification in the next 2 years. The Valley View school district is the premier school system in the state, attracting students from all over. Valley View has experienced a explosion in students over the recent years after winning "The Golden Apple Award" the last 4 years, which is Arkansas's highest achievement for academics. Students in the district have described the school as "fun", "entertaining", and a place they want to be.

Athletics

VVHS offers a multitude of sports
Mens: Basketball, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Track & Field, Golf, Swimming, Bowling and Debate.
Coed: Cheerleading & Dance.
Womens: Basketball, Soccer, Cheerleading, Dance, Tennis, Track & Field, Bowling, Swimming, and debate.

- Basketball - VVHS is known as a Basketball/Volleyball school, with their football program up and coming. VVHS basketball team in 2009 made it to the 4A state Semi-Finals, with a winning record in conference, and overall.

- Volleyball - The VVHS Volleyball team, led by coach Margie Magee, has won the last 7 of 8 state championships. Most consecutive State Final wins in Arkansas history. VVHS has produced multiple high level volleyball players.

- Baseball - The VVHS has won the last 2 of 3 state championships (2009 & 2010) with hopes to repeat after the 2011 campaign. Led by coach Kevin Burgi, who has turned the program around to a state final contender each year.

- Football - The VVHS football program was started in 2004, with the first Friday night football games coming in 2007. The 2007 campaign took VVHS to a opening night win over McCrory High School in front of 3,500 fans. This recent year (2010) Coach Shannon Sherman led VVHS to a unbelievable record of 9-1 with a 5-1 record in the 4AAA East Conference, making it all the way to the State Tournament Quarter Finals, in only their 3rd year of High School Football.

History

Valley View has experienced a period of rapid growth due to being the recipient of the Golden Apple Education Award for four consecutive years. The reward is given to the school with the highest test scores.
