The stations started simulcasting weekend news in April 2007. The same news is broadcast on both channels. KXJB uses its "4" bug

In November 2007, it was announced KVLY and KXJB would expand their simulcasting to the weekdays as well, and on November 5, 2007 that occurred. The new news branding is called "Valley News Live".

Morning and midday

  • Lisa Budeau, Mick Kjar and Kyle Bosch host the Valley Today on both KVLY and KXJB st 5am-7am and This TV 7am-9am, with Barbara Garrity contributing live reports.

Evenings

  • Stephanie Goetz anchors the 5 pm newscast on KVLY and will anchor the 6:30 newscast on KXJB with Chief Meteorologist Hutch Johnson.
  • Somebody other than Robin Huebner will anchor the 5:30 pm newscast on KXJB with Chief Meteorologist Hutch Johnson.
  • The 6pm newscast on KVLY consists of Mike Morken, Hutch Johnson with weather and Dan Hammer on sports.
  • The 10pm newscast on KVLY and KXJB will consist of Mike Morken and Stephanie Goetz as co-anchors, Hutch Johnson with weather and Dan Hammer on sports.

Weekends

  • Yvonne Man anchors the weekend newscasts, along with Meteorologist Lisa Green and sports anchor Jamal Spencer.
