History

Valley Christian School (VCS) was founded in 1975 located in the heart of the Spokane Valley in the previous University High School location. It is a non-denominational, non-profit 501C3 school with nearly 60 churches represented in the families enrolled. The school is accredited by ACSI and NASC and is approved by the State of Washington enrolling students in grades K-12. VCS provides a quality, biblical worldview education for Christian families desiring a discipleship based Christian day school. VCS assists Christian parents in providing both academic and spiritual development for their children. The school maintains maximum class sizes of 25 in the elementary and 30 in the secondary with an average class of 18 students.
