Each year the celibration starts Friday night with the Honorary Mayors race and a Friday night Stampede Rodeo.
Saturday morning starts off with the Valley Center Rotary Club pancake breakfast.The Valley Center Community Center offers entertainment,vendors, exhibits, food, balloon artists, face-painters, a mechanical bull, rock wall and live music. The Carnival has a Ferris wheel. An area for Children. Pony rides are also available. The Rodeo events consist of bull riding, team roping, calf roping, barrel racing, broncs and mutton busting. There is also a beer garden. On Sunday the Valley Center Lions club hosts a breakfast.
