Unión de Curtidores is a Mexican
football team, nicknamed Curtidores. The club was founded on August 15, 1928. The club plays in the Segunda División Profesional in el Estadio La Martinica in the city of León (Guanajuato). Due to the club's long history and tradition it has many followers, not just in the city of León (Guanajuato), but nationwide. Even though the club has not won a prestige title in over 80 years of its existence, the club still captivates fans young and old alike.

. The club went on to keep the club's name and the colors and in 1967 joined the Segunda División Profesional. In the 1970-1971 tournament, the club finished 7 overall. In 1971-1972 the club finished one point away from being relegated.In 1972-1973 the club fished 8 overall.
In 1974-1975 they managed to qualify for the playoff beating Club Leon
1-0, but fell to Toluca
, who went on to become the champion that year.
