In July 2006 a National Junior Cricket Tournament, hosted by the California Cricket Academy (CCA), was one of the first such tournaments sponsored by the USACA. A similar tournament run by the USACA and the CCA was held in June 2007. Prior to 2006, junior cricket events had been administered by other organizations such as Major League Cricket
