Biography

Turnstyle formed in January 1995 as a four-piece with Adem Kerimofski (aka Adem K

Adem K is an Australian independent rock musician and songwriter. A founding member of the group Turnstyle and more recently, Kerimofski has released material as a solo artist and fronts a new band called The Community Chest...

), Paul Fanning, Colin Reeves and David Elieff.

Their first release was a self titled cassette released in September 1995. The next release was Itcheekneesonchee, they initially pressed 100 copies of it but ended up having to press more due to the high sales and finally ended up making approximately 300-350 copies.

Elieff left the band in 1996, leaving the band a three-piece for a time.

In November 1997 the band released their first EP

 the band were joined by a fourth member, Todd Griffiths (known as DJ Grandmaster Casio). Turnstyle supported many international bands in Perth (even Neil Diamond

In May 1999, they released the single, "Spray Water on the Stereo", and also toured the Eastern states with Gerling

In 2000 the band released a compilation album of early recordings (1996–2000) and B-sides, Geek Party, which was followed by their second studio album, Turnstyle Corporation in October 2001.
