After the Split of the Hot Boys in 2002 he signed a multi million dollar deal with producer Ke'Noe at Laboratory Recordz and released 2 albums Raw and Uncut and Penitentiary Chances but while incarcerated Ke'Noe released 2 other albums of unreleased or recycled Turk verses called Still A Hot Boy and Convicted Felons the albums profits of the last two releases were put on Turk's prison books. He is rumored to have been signed back with Birdman and Cash Money but he has recently shown the release of his own label YNT or Young N Thuggin Entertainment. He is supposed to release his new album Untamed Gorilla in late 2011.

Criminal Records

In 2005, Turk was convicted on federal charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a fugitive from justice in possession of a firearm, and an unlawful user addicted to a controlled substance in possession of a firearm. The charges arose from the shooting of a Memphis,Tennessee police officer in early 2004. He was sentenced to 120 months of incarceration. In 2006, he entered an Alford plea
