based in Coventry, England, which operated from 2006–2007, and from 2009 onwards. TXW is promoted by James Meikle (Quentin Hyde-Styles/Jekkel) and Nick Bakewell (Corey Vandal). The promotion was originally founded by Meikle from the ashes of MPW (Midlands Pro Wrestling), the promotion in which he and future Co-Promoter, Nick Bakewell, were both trained. Triple X Wrestling has always been marketed as an adults only product but have in the past accepted entry to children under their parents own risk.
For the most part Triple X Wrestling makes its home at the Jolly Beggar Club (formerly known as the Tam O'Shanter Burns Club) but has promoted shows in other places and recently has run training seminars for the most part hosted by Zack Sabre Jr in other venues also.

History

Home to many well-known British wrestlers, Triple X offered fans straight up wrestling, violence and comical antics. It was strictly considered an adult product, though children may have attended at their parents discretion, depending on the ruling for the specific event.

Triple X Wrestling held their first show on 9 April 2006 at the Tam O'Shanter Burns Club in Coventry

On August 12, 2007, Triple X Wrestling made a mini invasion of fellow Midlands promotion Leicester Pro Wrestling. Before Triple X Wrestling closed, plans were to merge the Ax, Smash and Crush championships in to one TXW championship, with the three champions wrestling in a triple threat match. Upon the return of Triple X Wrestling these titles will remain retired. The only existing championship will be the "Unified" Triple X Wrestling Championship.
