- To encourage awareness, participation, and expression of our county's artistic potential.
- To assist the needs of county artists, art organizations, support agencies in obtaining financial or human resources.
- To provide an on-going mechanism for effective county-wide arts communications, planning and programming.
- To assist the local economy by promoting the employment of local artists and those skilled in crafts in both public and private sector.
