Personal life

In 1970 the Cast family moved from New York to California, after traveling across the country in a 28 foot Winnebago. The Cast family was fortunate to see a great deal of the United States.

Her father, Richard Cast (deceased) is credited as her inspiration and mentor in those early years and it was his coaching and theatrical arts teachings that formed the foundation for her career. While her father was attending college at Saddleback College she was recruited by the director of the acting department Wynn Pierce, at a very young age and her acting quickly gained the attention of talent scout "Estelle Hertzburg" who quickly placed her in the Bad News Bears Television Series.

Cast is currently married to Bat McGrath, whom she married on July 20, 2000.
