. She is featured in the CCTV9 program Rediscovering China where she stars in three initial programs regarding the Qinghai-Tibet Railroad shown in 2006 and again another 3 programs in 2007, one year after the opening of the railway.

Though overly enthusiastic in the program regarding the construction of the railroad, interestingly enough her personal views regarding the railroad is rather ambivalent. Her personal views of the subject comes forth through in a supposedly editored journal on the CCTV website. She remains very sceptical on the notion that the railroad will ruin the landscape and nature of the Tibetan Plateau.

The title of this journal is 8 days in Tibet. Which can be seen as a pun on the book and movie called Seven Years in Tibet
