History

Tomy first produced an N scale model, a JNR Class ED75 electric locomotive, in 1974 under the "Tomy Ninescale" brand. The Tomix brand was formed in 1976, and the first Tomix HO scale model, a JNR Class EF58

Fine Track

In 2002, Tomix launched a new track system, called "Fine Track", which featured more realistic-looking ballast
