Tom Murro is an American journalist and television personality who has a weekly entertainment segment on FOXCT61 and has appeared onNECNand CBS2NY. He has also been a regular on air celebrity news personality for News12NJ
and is the creator of Celebritymagnet.com. He is a columnist for Chicago Now, IWMagazine, The Washington Times Communities, Newjerseynewsroom.com, The Raleigh Telegram and contributor to several other popular websites to include Socialitelife.com, Radaronline and TMZ.
In 2009 he had a chance one on one encounter with President Obama which led to an invitation to the 2009 Gotham Awards, where he walked the red carpet alongside Natalie Portman, Brooke Shields, Rosie Perez and Chris Rock. In 2010 he attended The Tribeca Film Festival, where he had dinner with Robert Deniro and ate popcorn with Ellen Barkin while watching the screening of her latest film.
In August 2010 He met again with President Obama where he presented a special gift to the president — a signed 8-by-10-inch photograph of Jackie Robinson stealing home plate in the 1955 World Series signed by Yogi Berra: "Mr. President, He was out! Yogi Berra." He had arranged to give the photo to a Whitehouse aide but instead presented it to Obama himself.

for an online auction to raise money for his favorite charity 'The Emmauel Cancer Foundation' in Midland Park, N.J.
After forging a strong partnership with Reality Star Kim Granatell, who has a prominent role in the latest season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." The two have starred in a series of vignette-like home movies that can be viewed on many gossip sites and regularly attend red carpet events and charity functions together.
Murro emcee'd for the 2011 Mrs. N.J. United States Pageant on May 21, 2011 and co-hosted 2011 New Jersey Fashion Week on Oct 13th 2011.
