How Toledo Early College Works

Students who attend Toledo Early College High School begin taking college classes when they are a freshman. This first class is taught on the Scott Park campus and directed by a college instructor. The student's sophomore year is much like the freshman year, except they begin taking classes on the main campus of The University of Toledo. Then when the student reaches their junior and senior year they are much on their own getting back and forth to mainly college classes at the UT campus. When students graduate from TECHS they could have accumulated up to 60 college credits. This is the equivalent of them going right into college as a junior.
