. It is South Windsor's only middle school, serving all students in grades 6 through 8. The school offers many courses encompassing math, social studies and science. Students focus on reading in Academic Literacy and writing in Language Arts. In addition, students take Technology Education, Heath, Home Economics and Physical Education. They can also choose from a variety of music electives including Band, Chorus, Orchestra and General Music.

Noteworthy Events

• The TEMS Science Olympiad team has won the Regional Competition and the National for the past five years. As of 2009 School 6th grade science teacher Jim Guida was the head coach of the program.
