In February 2008 Trevor Mallard
the State owned Enterprises Minister, announced that the assets of Timberlands will transfer to Crown Forestry since the company has had poor financial results. The company ceased trading on December 31, 2008 and once the transfer of forests is completed the company will be wound up.
