Description

Tibia fusus belongs to the Strombidae family and it is considered one of the true conch shells. Tibia fusus is spindle-shaped with a long siphonal canal. It is a fairly common shell, but, given its attractive appearance, it is highly appreciated by collectors. Most Tibia fusus live in off-shore waters where there is plenty of sand. Tibia fusus's length (including its long siphonal canal) ranges from 5"50 to 12"20.
