Caroline Spencer
Caroline Spencer
Caroline Spencer Forrester is a fictional character in the American soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. The role was played by Joanna Johnson from March 23, 1987 to early July 1990...

Thorne (then played by Clayton Norcross) grew up in the shadow of his big brother Ridge, giving him a desperate need to prove himself to his family. He was in love with Ridge's girlfriend Caroline Spencer in 1987. Caroline only saw him as a friend and initially she wanted him and Brooke Logan together, but Brooke fell for Ridge also and so the infamous Ridge-Caroline-Thorne-Brooke love square began. After Ridge flirted with Brooke who immediately told Caroline she gave up on Ridge. That same night Caroline was raped. Thorne went after Caroline while comforting her and hiding the truth from Ridge, and eventually proposing to her. Before the prosoal took place, RIdge wrote a love letter to Caroline which Brooke and Thorne hide and only showed it to Caroline after Stephanie's intervention just before the wedding. By then Caroline had convinced herself she loved Thorne (she misjudged her feelings, just recuparating from the rape)and went and married Thorne. Brooke went after Ridge that same night, and afterwards asked Caroline if it was okay for her to date Ridge and Caroline said yes (she thought Brooke as her best friend, not knowing how she took advantage of her. Ridge wanted Thorne, Brooke (who was now involved with Ridge), and Caroline to have a party by the pool. That night, Caroline got tipsy, and Thorne, being overprotective of her, put her to bed. While they were drunk Ridge pretended to trick Caroline and slip in her bed, but she thought he was Thorne so they both had sex. Later on, Caroline realised what she did and wanted to leave the Forresters, persuaded by Stephanie not to, and advised her to stay away from Ridge. Thorne overheared a conversation between Stephanie and Eric about the prank that Ridge pulled on Caroline. Thorne was shocked about it and he was tired of his brother. While Caroline was away, Thorne got drunk and took sleepping pills and this prompted him to shoot Ridge one night. Stephanie saw him do it, and with her own hand-gun that she kept hidden. Thorne had no memory of this because of the combination of the alcohol and sleeping pills. Stephanie kept this a secret for as long as she could, but she eventually told Eric and Ridge. The shooting and the fear of Ridge dying. made Caroline to realise that it was Ridge who she wanted and that she even knew it was him on the bed that night. Caroline then learnt what Thorne and Brooke had done with the letter and wanted out of the marriage, but Stephanie kept manipulating her to stay married to Thorne, of her fear of Thorne snaping once again. With Brooke becoming pregnant, Caroline postponed her plans until Brooke and Ridge get married not wanting to disrupt the Forresters. Once Brooke miscarried, and Ridge decided not to marry her, Caroline was ready to announce her intentions to Thorne, when Stephanie and Ridge finally told her the truth about the shooting (Ridge learnt the truth, and he became cold to Caroline, even after both acknowledge their feelings to each other). With the help of a psychiatrist Carolinef finally told Thorne she wanted the divorce. After the divorce took place ,one day while Stephanie was with her alleged daughter "Angela" (who was really an imposter) she was talking about the shooting and "Angela" overheard it. When it was discovered that Angela was a fake, she later threatened to blackmail Stephanie about the shooting and that would tear the family apart. Later, "Angela" supposedly died in a car accident but she came back as another imposter named "Deveny Dixon" and she was working with Sally Spectra. Deveny fell in love with Thorne (then being played by Jeff Trachta

) so she wanted to fix her face. Thorne wanted to help her by getting a good doctor to perform plastic surgery since she was in an accident. Then the doctor showed Thorne a computer image of what she looked like before, but it wasn't ready yet. Stephanie came by and when the image of Deveny came, she recognized "Angela". But "Angela" was two steps ahead and gave Thorne alcohol and gave him sleeping pills, and told him about the shooting and what Ridge and Caroline did one night. Thorne was now goingt to kill Ridge but Stephanie (who already confronted "Angela")stopped him in time, and he was furious with Stephanie for not telling him about what Ridge and Caroline did and the shooting and telling Ridge first. Ridge and Caroline finally married much to Thorne's dismay. Six months later, Thorne was devastated when he found out his ex-wife Caroline Spencer was dying; she died in July 1990. He had gotten involved with Macy, but dumped her for Caroline's twin Karen Spencer. They eventually broke up, and Thorne reunited with Macy.

Macy Alexander

After his divorce with Caroline, Thorne fell in love with Sally Spectra's daughter Macy Alexander. The two had an on and off relationship in the 1990s, Macy and Karen were fighting for him in 1992 and then Brooke and Macy fought for him in 1999 and he eventually chose Brooke, prompting Macy to become an alcoholic and so she kidnapped Brooke and got in an accident with Macy dying in a car explosion. Macy was revealed to be alive in 2002, and Thorne and Macy came back together, but her alcoholism got in their way leading to the end of their relationship.

Taylor Hamilton

Thorne had a brief relationship with Taylor Hamilton in 1998 during her pregnancy with Ridge's child, while he didn't know (Ridge married Brooke, who knew about the pregnancy and hid it). After Ridge found out the paternity of Thomas, Ridge returned to Taylor. Thorne returned to Macy. After numerous failed attempts at a relationship with Macy Alexander and a brief but unsuccessful marriage with Brooke Logan.

Darla Forrester was a fictional character in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, played by actress Schae Harrison from 1989 to July 18, 2006...

He found happiness with Darla Einstein in 2003. The couple had their first (and only) child, Alexandria Forrester, named after Macy Alexander, in January 2004. They married in mid-2004 and were happily married until Darla's death in July 2006, where a drunken Taylor hit her while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway. Taylor and Thorne had a short relationship after Darla's death and became engaged, but this was called off after they found their relationship was having a negative psychological effect on Alexandria.

Donna Logan
Donna Forrester
Donna Logan is a fictional character on CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. The character was played by Carrie Mitchum on a contract basis from 1987 to 1991 and made guest appearances in 1994, 1995, 1996 and 2001...

Thorne saw minimal airtime until the first anniversary of Darla's death in July 2007, when it became apparent that Thorne was still grieving his wife, turning to drugs and alcohol. While at a bar one night, a drunken Thorne was offered a ride home by Brooke's sister, Donna Logan. In Thorne's innebriated state, he hallucinated that Donna was Darla. Donna, angry with Stephanie over her treatment of Brooke, decided to take advantage of Thorne to get back at Stephanie. However, the wedding didn't happen, after Donna's sister, Katie Logan, told him the truth of her sister's real reason for marrying him. Thorne angrily broke off the engagement, and thanked Katie for her honesty. He and Katie have become friends, as each other can confide in one another. However, their friendship has become strained due to Katie discovering that he and Felicia were openly helping Stephanie sabotage Donna's relationship with Eric.

Disapproval of Eric and Donna

Thorne has again had little screen time, but has openly disapproved of his father's relationship with Donna, hoping his parents will re-unite. He even paid two models to pretend to be Owen and Donna and have an affair. Though this temporarily breaks up Eric and Donna, Thorne is found out and Eric and Donna re-unite. Thorne has also recently left Forrester Creations, believing the company is no longer a family company but instead run by the Logans.

Returning to Forrester Creations

Thorne was thrilled when, in 2004, his parents made him president of Forrester Creations. But when the eldest (and favoured) Forrester son, Ridge, decided to return to the company, Eric and Stephanie demoted Thorne to Vice President in favor of Ridge. Tired of being the unappreciated younger son, Thorne trashed his father's office in a fit of rage, and left Forrester to join Spectra Fashions, taking many of their designs with him. Rather than ride on Eric and Ridge's designs, Thorne had a change of heart, and decided to make the newly renamed Spectra Couture famous for its own designs and also began designing himself, something he had given up years earlier when discouraged by his family, who believed Ridge was better. After Spectra CEO Sally Spectra bet everything on Spectra winning the fashion show, Thorne was out of a job and out of a company, but Stephanie, having recently discovered she was the rightful owner of Forrester Creations, reinstated Thorne as the company's president. Thorne then again came back to Forrester after Ridge and Brooke convinced him to, once again becoming Vice President. After Bill Spencer Jr., took over the company, Thorne resigned and went to become the head of Manufacturing and Development, but his family recently got Forrester Creations back. As of late August 2010 Thorne was concerned that he may be Liam Cooper's biological father due to a relationship he once had with Liam's mother Kelly Hopkins, but thanks to a blood test, Bill Spencer Jr. is revealed to be Liam's father.

Thorne's feud with Ridge reignited

Thorne becomes angry over Ridge's treatment of Taylor, Thomas, and Steffy and decided to team up with Taylor to make Ridge and Stephanie pay for what they have done to Forrester Creations in terms of shares. While they continue to plot and scheme, Thorne and Taylor's romantic relationship reignites as does Thorne's feud with Ridge.
