Thibodaux High School is a public high school

about 75 miles southwest of New Orleans. It is one of three high schools in the Lafourche Parish Public Schools district. The faculty, staff and administration hold the mission of "actively facilitating the academic and social development of all students."
Our school-wide plans for professional growth this school year include a greater focus on literacy across the curriculum including implementing additional literacy strategies as indicated in our state comprehensive curriculum.
Also, in an effort to assist students in their academic development, Thibodaux High offers Grade Recovery, where students may retest if they score between 50% and 74%; Attendance Recovery for excessive absences; and Credit Recovery for failed courses.
Thibodaux High won a football state championship in 1991 and a basketball state runner-up trophy in 2005. Also, the Thibodaux High School football team claimed the title of District 7-5A Champs in 2008.

History
The school was established in the late 19th century or early 20th century at the site that is currently Thibodaux Elementary School. Later it moved a block away to the current site of East Thibodaux Middle School. In 1967, the student body was moved to the current location at the corner of Talbot Ave. and Tiger Dr. In 2002, 9th grade students were added to the campus.Curriculum

Athletics
