The Vampires of Bloody Island is a 2009 British comedy horror film directed by Allin Kempthorne and starring his wife Pamela Kempthorne who had previously appeared in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
and Shaun of the Dead
. The film also starred Oliver Gray, John Snelling and Leon Hamilton. The film was released in the UK at the cinema in August 2009. It was released on DVD in January 2010 several weeks ahead of its planned February release date due to an email campaign organised by fans of the film.
It was released on DVD in the US in June 2010.

In her crumbling castle clinging to a rocky, isolated Cornish
island, Morticia de'Ath, a vampire noblewoman (played by Pamela Kempthorne) and her zombie henchman, Grunt (Leon Hamilton), are concocting a sinister plan. Aided by misguided alchemist, Doctor N. Sane (John Snelling), they aim to discover the magical cure for vampires to become immune to the deadly rays of sunlight!
Caught up in her evil plans are two bickering office workers Kevin Smallcock and Susan Swallows, and an enigmatic old world vampire hunter Professor Van Rental.
Along the way they encounter werewolves, demons, a seductive trio of vampire girls in nighgowns and culminating in a woodland battle with 100 Medieval vampire soldiers and their commanding officer a fey green skined battle demon.
Ferryman: "It's an 'orrible place, an evil place, filled with vampires an' werewolves an' virgins."
Kevin: "Well look mate, I don't believe in vampires and werewolves. - Or virgins!"
Morticia is having troubles with some peace loving vampires.
Morticia: "Oh for the love of blood, a hippie vampire!"
Doctor N Sane is explaining to Susan and Kevin the attraction of becoming a vampire.
Susan: "But we'd be evil bloodsucking mass murdering monsters."
Dr N Sane: "Well, there is that downside to it!"
Morticia wakes up from a heavy night.
Morticia: "Oh my head! WHO was I drinking last night?"
