 in 1947 at 1pm ET weekdays as a homemaker tip and interview program. It is one of the oldest live TV broadcasts captured and preserved, where a kinescope of a 1947 transmission is on file at the Library Of Congress. This program is also credited as one of the first television programs with a sustaining sponsor (Swift, the meat and food products company). The series lasted only one season.
