. The presumed object of the game is to move a blue dot within a path to a red "goal" area without hitting the walls. Towards the end of level three, the player must navigate the dot between increasingly narrow spaces, increasing focus on the monitor and often drawing the person closer to the screen. It is at this point that the scare tactic image and sounds occur. There are many variations to the maze, such as adding a different frightening image to the end of the game and a modified seven level version
