Internationally, Oaktree partners with developing communities to support quality educational opportunities for young people. In Australia, Oaktree focuses on educating and training young people to be effective agents of change, as well as lobbying for policy change through sustained, community-driven campaigns.
The Oaktree Foundation was founded in 2003 by Hugh Evans (2004 Young Australian of the Year) and Nicolas Mackay in Melbourne, Australia.
