The Mob Film Company produces high-quality drama, commercials, documentaries and feature films for the global market, specialising in international co-production. The Mob is part of Red Arrow Entertainment Group (a ProSiebenSat.1 Group company), headquartered in London with offices in Manchester and Los Angeles. The joint Managing Directors are Vadim Jean, John Brocklehurst and Ian Sharples.

FILM & TV

The Mob are one of the busiest television production companies in the UK. Shooting high end event TV dramas and feature films throughout the world.

The Mob are behind the multi BAFTA and Royal Television Society award winning Terry Pratchett Discworld TV adaptations, Hogfather, The Colour of Magic and Going Postal for Sky One.

The feature documentary In the Land of the Free, narrated by Samuel L Jackson is the story of the Angola 3, who have between them spent over a century in solitary confinement for crimes they did not commit. After its high profile theatrical release in the UK it was nominated best documentary at the 2011 London Evening Standard British Standard awards and after a landmark screening on Capitol Hill in Washington DC in the Spring has resulted in the launch of an Amnesty International campaign calling for the release of the Angola 3.

In 2010 The Show Must Go On aired on Channel 5, starring Sir David Jason, which revealed the trials and tribulations of the actors and crew from an amateur dramatic theatre company, as they prepared to present a comedy play… in the West End.

2011 also sees production commencing on the fourth Terry Pratchett drama, Unseen Academicals, and The Man Who Invented Christmas, for Channel 4, CBC in Canada and TNT about Charles Dickens during the period he was writing A Christmas Carol.

The Mob has had offices in London for over 15 years and in recent years launched a hugely successful production base in Manchester and a more recent presence in Los Angeles. Their commercial roster consists of 8 directors based throughout the world and is one of the most awarded production companies in the UK, with 2 Gold and 1 Silver Cannes Lions. Working with London agencies and global conglomerates through to boutique and regional agencies, the Mob has a huge breadth of advertising experience.

The Mob represent a roster of highly acclaimed directors for commercials, including Paul WS Anderson, Bharat Nalluri and Sarah O'Gorman.
