Recorded in the mid-1990s, the material was finally released independently through her own label, SF Records, in December 2005. It was delayed being mailed to fans until February 2006, due to the illness and death of Siobhan's mother, Helen.

Re Issue

In 2011, it was announced that The MGA Sessions had been remastered and was sold exclusively on SF Records via Siobhan's web site. This edition was limited to 200 copies only and features new artwork and 3 bonus tracks. Unlike the original 2005 release, the re issue was released in a jewel case.
