Summary

George and Jane argues about Elroy doing pranks at school (such as destroying the substitute teacher's hair with a laser helmet), shoplifting and (with Astro the Dog) beat up a girl who moved to the apartment next door. The parents are offered a bill with an amount due of $1743.62c (One-thousand, seven-hundred and forty-three dollars and 62 cents). George yells to Elroy that he is going to have to work every cent of the bill if it takes him the next five years, while Elroy blurts out, "Aw, don't have a cow, man!", leaving George and Jane shocked. George wanted to know he learned that kind of language, Jane only says "He gets it from those cruddy, 20th century, flat, yellow TV cartoons
